Heading Into The Holiday Season

Posted

As we clean up the buttercrunch toffee crumbs from Plumb Brook Chocolates from our birthday celebration on Saturday (we just turned 8), we feel more prepared than ever for the holiday season.  There is always a fair amount of reflection over the prior year and anticipation for the coming months.

This year was all about personalization for us.  We invested in an engraving machine and began creating our own charms for our "Design Your Own" jewelry bar.  We have been exciting people all year by creating personalized keepsakes that have been both enjoyed by the designer or a beloved token of affection.

We also decided to carry a nice variety of locally sourced gourmet food items and to that end are excited to carry Winding Drive jams and jellies, The Olive Oil Company's oils and vinegars, honey and bee products from Three Sisters Farms in Essex and Plumb Brook Chocolates made right in Woodbury.  These products are all locally sourced and made of the finest ingredients - and have been a big hit with our customers.  We have decided to make gift baskets as well since most people were putting items together as hostess gifts!

My favorite addition.....the new artists.  I just love adding new and exciting artists to our mix and this year we really outdid ourselves.  From national artists like Holly Yashi, Vera Wolf and Kristina Collection to fantastic local artists like Third Eye Imagery and Designs by Donna Tye.  Our collection of artists is fantastic!

Of course, I count my blessings at the end of the day.  We are so fortunate that this community has taken us under their wing and has supported us through the years.  We are happy to be part of this vibrant area of the state.

We look forwardto seeing you for some holiday shopping!!

Laura
